Overview

Your site is more than a page — it's a place to publish, and a way to keep in touch. You get a built-in blog for sharing news and stories, a newsletter that grows an audience that's truly yours, email campaigns that go out with your logo and the colors you choose, and the SEO basics that help people find you.

Everything lives right in your dashboard, alongside the site you already built — no separate blogging tool, email service, or SEO plugin to buy or wire up.

Where things live: your blog is under Posts, your audience and campaigns are under Newsletter, and your search settings are in each site's Settings (from the side nav, open Home, click the gear button below View site, and choose Settings).

Write and publish blog posts

The blog is built in. Write a post in your dashboard, publish it, and show it on your site — with the same care for type and images as the rest of your pages.

  1. In the side navigation, open Posts.
  2. Click New post. An AI writer opens beside the editor: ask it for ideas or tell it what the post is about and it writes into the editor, or close it and write your own.
  3. Give it a title, write your content, and add any images or tags you'd like.
  4. Save it as a Draft while you work, or Publish when it's ready. Drafts stay private; published posts can appear on your site.
  5. To show your posts on the site, open the page where you want them, add a Journal (blog) section in the editor, and publish. Your latest posts fill in automatically.

New posts flow into your Journal section on their own — you don't have to add each one to the page by hand. Write, publish, and it appears.

Grow your newsletter list

Your newsletter list is yours — it lives with your site, not rented from someone else. You collect subscribers with a signup block on your site, and watch your audience grow from the Newsletter area.

  1. In the editor, open a page and add a Newsletter signup section wherever you'd like people to subscribe — many sites put one in the footer or near the bottom of the home page.
  2. Publish the page. Visitors can now enter their email, and we'll send them a link to confirm. They join your list when they do.
  3. In the side navigation, open Newsletter to see your subscriber count and how your list is growing over time.
  4. New subscribers are added automatically as people confirm — there's nothing to sync or export.

People who book, order, or message you can become contacts too. Your full audience lives in Customers, under People — see the Customers & CRM guide for how contacts, consent, and the inbox fit together.

Send an email campaign

A campaign is a one-time email to your subscribers — an announcement, a sale, a new post, a seasonal hello. You write and design it in your dashboard, and it goes out with your logo at the top.

  1. In the side navigation, open Newsletter, then Campaigns.
  2. Click New campaign.
  3. Add a subject line, choose a layout under Template, then write your message — or click Write with AI, say what the email is about, and it writes the message for you to edit. As you type, a live preview shows exactly what subscribers will see, with your logo already in place.
  4. Click Design to set the heading font and the background and accent colors. To match your site's colors, paste in the same hex codes it uses.
  5. Read it over in the preview. It's exactly what subscribers get, and a campaign can't be changed once it's gone.
  6. When you're happy, Send now to deliver it to your subscribers, or Schedule it for a date and time that suits you. You'll see how many people it's going to before it sends.

Your logo comes from your brand settings on its own. The colors and heading font belong to each campaign and start from a neutral default, so once one campaign looks right, Duplicate it and the copy keeps its whole design.

Sending limits and your address

Every paid plan includes 5,000 email sends a month across your newsletters and campaigns — plenty for regular contact with a growing list. Anything beyond that bills at a tenth of a cent per send, and you can keep an eye on where you stand under Usage, in the side navigation.

Campaigns send only from your own domain, so messages look professional and replies come straight back to you. Every campaign also prints your business's postal address at the foot, as the law requires; add it in your site's Settings, under General.

Until your email domain is verified and your business address is in, campaigns can't be sent or scheduled — see the Domains & email guide to set up email on your domain. Unsubscribes are handled automatically: anyone who opts out has their marketing opt-in switched off and won't receive future campaigns, though they stay in Customers.

Get found in search

Search engines look for a few basics on every site — a clear title, a short description, and a tidy web address. Yours are set sensibly out of the box, and you can fine-tune how your site shows up in tabs, search results, and shared links.

  1. In the side navigation, open Home, click the gear button below View site on the Home panel, and choose Settings.
  2. Under Site, open Brand & SEO and find the SEO card.
  3. Set your Page title — this shows in browser tabs and as the headline in search results.
  4. Write a Description — a sentence or two shown under the title in search results.
  5. Add a Favicon (the small square icon in the browser tab) and a Social share image (shown when your site is shared; 1200×630 works well), then save.

Sitemaps are generated for you, and every page has a clean, readable web address — so there's nothing technical to set up. These settings simply help you put your best foot forward.

Tips

A few things that make content and email work harder:

  1. Set up email on your domain before your first campaign — campaigns only send from your own verified address, which builds trust and keeps replies in one place.
  2. Add a newsletter signup where people already are — the footer and the end of your best pages tend to convert well.
  3. Read the preview closely before a campaign goes out: once it's sent, it can't be changed.
  4. Publish posts regularly, even short ones — a fresh Journal gives visitors (and search engines) a reason to come back.

Frequently asked questions

Yes — a built-in blog you write right in your dashboard under Posts, with the same care for type and images as the rest of your site. There's no separate blogging tool to pay for. Add a Journal section to a page to show your posts, and new ones appear automatically.

Add a Newsletter signup section to any page and start collecting subscribers. Your list lives with your site and it's yours — you're never renting your audience from someone else. Watch it grow under Newsletter in the side navigation.

Open Newsletter, then Campaigns, and click New campaign. Add a subject, write your message with the live preview beside you — or let Write with AI draft it — then Send now or schedule it for later. You'll see the recipient count before it goes out.

Every paid plan includes 5,000 email sends a month across newsletters and campaigns, and anything beyond that bills at a tenth of a cent per send. You can track your usage under Usage, in the side navigation.

Your logo, yes: every campaign carries it without being asked. The colors and heading font are set in each campaign's Design panel, so paste in your site's hex codes and the colors will match. To reuse a look, duplicate a campaign you've already styled.

Always from your own domain — something like you@inbox.yourdomain.com — so set that up before your first campaign. Replies come straight back to your Inbox. See the Domains & email guide to set it up.

Every page has the title, description, and clean URL search engines look for — set sensibly by default and yours to fine-tune in your site's Settings, under Brand & SEO. Sitemaps are automatic, and you can add a social share image so links look right when shared.
